What are the perfect pre-bed proteins?
Proteins containing the amino acid Tryptophan are good foods to help send your little one off to sleep. Poultry – in particular turkey – is a good source of this.
Are there any foods best avoided before bed?
Rich foods, or foods high in sugar are not a good idea before bed as rich foods can take longer to digest, your body has to work to break down sugars, and sleeping is the best time for your baby’s body to rest and repair.
What are the best foods/drinks for a constipated baby?
Sources of fibre are a good natural aid to constipation, but be careful not to give too much. Including fruit in the diet with the skins is a good source of fibre. It’s also important to keep your baby well hydrated.
